In Jammu and Kashmir, a Drop Box will be made available in every Panchayat by the end of this month. It will enable citizens to register their complaints and grievances with the Government.
Chief Secretary B V R Subrahmanyam has directed all Deputy Commissioners to draw roster of employees to collect the grievances from the Drop Boxes on weekly basis. The decision to place a Drop Box was taken in the first Administrative Council meeting chaired by the Lieutenant Governor earlier this month.
